    December 5th, from 9am-12pm

Are you interested in learning more about long range positional shooting, or do you want to learn how to run your scope?

Are you looking to hone your skills shooting from different barricades, or are you trying to keep that razor sharp edge during the off season?

If so, then we have an opportunity for you.

The VaRMEnT Steel Precision Rifle Match is a competitive, precision shooting match which draws its roots from the PRS and NRL series. We utilize a variety of shooting positions to engage different size steel targets, at different distances from the firing line at our 600-yard range.

On December 5th, from 9am-12pm, come experience a “free” VaRMEnT Steel Precision Rifle clinic hosted by the Desoto Rifle & Pistol Club where Local Pro level & competitive PRS shooters will be on hand to help everyone get the most out of their skill level and equipment.

Not sure if your equipment is good enough? Bring it out for the Pro’s to see; they will have bags and basic equipment to borrow.

    Minimum Equipment/Requirements:

-Bolt or Gas gun with a scope (3x9 minimum power)
    -Rifle Min -Max Caliber:.223 - .308
-Round Count: Minimum of 40 rounds, more is preferred
    -Ear protection is mandatory
-Chamber flags are mandatory; the Match Director will have flags for sale at the range for $10 a piece
-New Shooters - Demonstrate to the Match Director the ability to safely engage a target at 600 yds before being allowed to shoot in the clinic
-Comply with all the General Rules found at: https://www.desotogunrange.com/varment

For questions, leave a comment in this post and the Match Director will get back with you.

Contact Chris, the VaRMEnT Steel Precision Rifle Match Director if you have any questions.
