Who We Are

A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG & AG) is a shooting league established by women shooters for women shooters.

 While there are wonderful male instructors, it can greatly benefit women to learn from other women. This girl-friendly environment has a different feel to it - and can often be less intimidating to new shooters.

What makes us different from other women shooting clubs is our leadership and training.

Our Facilitators are all Certified Instructors. This is important because members can be assured that all events are run by someone who has made an investment in her training by attending professional classes to learn safe gun handling and accuracy drills. This is more than a fun group; we have a mission to ensure that our members learn correct techniques while having fun.

Our facilitators are women who can provide techniques and tips for female shooters of all skill levels. Our goal is to empower, educate, and have fun at the range. AG & AG events have been successful stepping stones for thousands of women. At our events and through articles and information, we provide:

• Basics of safe gun handling
• Range etiquette
• Proper grip techniques
• Stance for accurate shooting
• Trigger control and follow through
• Sight picture and sight alignment

  
  

It’s More Than Shooting

While our mission is to educate women on safe and accurate shooting, our organization is about so much more than shooting! It’s about empowerment, support, friendships, fun, self-reliance, and so much more. Everyday we witness the transformation of women who set out to learn how to shoot and in the process discover a confidence in themselves that improves all areas of their lives. Whether you’re interested in competition, concealed carry, home defense, the safe storage of guns in the home, or you just want to get out of the house and try something new, please join us at an upcoming event.
